Tonight’s episode of AEW COLLISION was broadcast on TNT from the PPL Center in Allentown, PA!

It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! Saturday night’s alright for fighting!

Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

Tonight’s show kicked off with a Trios Match!

Samoa Joe, HOOK, & “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata!

vs.

The Premier Athletes—Josh Woods, Tony Nese, & Ariya Daivari (with “Smart” Mark Sterling)!

Nese hit Joe with a spin kick, but that Joe bulldozed Nese to the mat. Hook tagged in and suplexed Nese, but Nese landed on his feet and then dropkicked Hook. The Premier Athletes triple teamed Hook in their corner of the ring.

Shibata grabbed a tag, and Woods entered the match for his team. Woods and Shibata traded forearms. They chain wrestled and Shibata grabbed an arm bar, but Woods reached the ropes with his boots. Samoa Joe boxed Nese into the corner. Sterling distracted the ref while Josh Woods hit Samoa Joe with a cheap shot.

Hook tagged in and wiped out Nese with a suplex. Hook followed up with a T-bone suplex and then clobbered Nese with clubbing forearms. Josh Woods jumped into the ring and hurled Hook with a German release!

Shibata rocked Nese with a snap suplex. Shibata applied an arm bar and forced Nese to tap out!

“What a team. They dispose of the Premier Athletes. Maybe a title shot in their future,” said Tony Schiavone.

Unified Trios Champs the Bang Bang Gang—Austin and Colten Gunn, along with Juice Robinson, were backstage!

Juice: “Apparently AEW isn’t going to recognize the fact that I was anointed one-quarter of the AEW Unified Trios Champions!”

Colten: “And apparently House of Black gets a title shot now?”

Austin: “And apparently Pac cares about the Bang Bang Gang, now, interrupting our six man match!”

Juice: “But it’s all good. Our fearless leader, ‘Switchblade’ Jay White, ‘the Catalyst’, he’s off training his ass off. You thought eight abs was something special. He’s coming back with ten! Pac, you’d better hope you don’t see Switchblade in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament!”

Lexy Nair was backstage with Dante Martin, Darius Martin, and Action Andretti!

Dante: “The last time I was in a ladder match, I broke my leg. I had to relearn how to be inhuman. And I’m going right back into that environment and people are telling me it’s crazy. But at Forbidden Door, we’re going to have some gold to celebrate with boys.”

Lio Rush walked onto the set.

“I actually want to talk to you about last week,” said Lio.

Action: “Before we get into anything about last week, I just want to congratulate you on the big Rampage win you got.”

Lio: “Darius, we cool? Dante, as you can see, last week, I’m a man of my word. I had your back. I always have, I always will. But I’m in that ladder match too. Come Forbidden Door, I want the TNT Championship for myself.”

Dante: “Yeah, I want it too.”

Lio: “So I guess I’ll see you there.”

Darius: “We’ll see who the better man is.”

Trios Match!

The Patriarchy’s Christian Cage, Nick Wayne & Kill Switch (with Mother Wayne)

vs.

The Iron Savages—Bulk Bronson and Beefcake Boulder, & Jacked Jameson!

As the Iron Savages were making their entrance, Jacked Jameson had some choice words for Christian Cage.

Jameson: “Christian Cage, you have been a focal point on the biggest shows in history since most of us have been little kids. One of the greatest of all time, and now you’ve been better than you ever were.

Before the match began, Christian Cage and Mother Wayne walked away from the ring. Christian Cage decided instead to join the broadcast team for this match.

Brother Zay cleaned house on Jericho and Big Bill with consecutive cutters! Marq Quen charged at Jericho, but Jericho caught him with a chop to the throat. Jericho went for the lionsault, but Quen raised his knees in defense. Kassidy and Quen rocked Jericho with the Gin & Juice, but Jericho kicked out at the two-count!

Bryan Keith distracted the ref while Big Bill booted Isiah Kassidy in the jaw! Jericho went for the cover but Kassidy kicked out at the two-count. Kassidy fired back on all cylinders. Kassidy tried for a hurracanrana, but Jericho countered with the Walls. Kassidy managed to reach the ropes to break up the Walls. Big Bill decimated Kassidy with the Bossman Slam for a near fall.

Big Bill choke slammed Marq Quen onto Kassidy and went for the cover, but Kassidy kicked out! Kassidy shoved Big Bill and Big Bill collided into Jericho. Marq Quen used a hurracanrana and sent Jericho flying into Kassidy, and Kassidy turned it into a Code Breaker on Jericho!

Jericho covered Kassidy and scored the win after a big assist from Bryan Keith!

Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith attacked Private Party after the match. Samoa Joe, Hook, and Shibata sprinted to the ring to even up the odds for Private Party! Shibata went to work on Bryan Keith’s arm and a ringside physician had to check on Keith.

Samoa Joe: “Hi, Chris. Every idea that comes from your tree sucks. I’ve always been a man who said the best ideas survive the crucible of combat, and that’s what I suggest. I say, Shibata, Hook, Samoa Joe, versus Chris Jericho and what’s left of his Learning Tree come Forbidden Door!”

“The Professor” Serena Deeb was backstage!

“Leading up to Double Or Nothing I was 6-0. Physically I was unbeatable, mentally I was untouchable. And subsequently I have had three of the toughest losses in my career to three of the best women in this company. Sometimes you’re on the up and sometimes you’re on the down, but when you’re on the down you have to stop it in its tracks.

“My wrestling career has taught me about grit and perseverance. So next week I will be in Buffalo. I am begging anyone to step in my ring, to step into Deeb’s Dojo, because baby I’m on the up. And I’m going to remind everyone and myself just who the hell I am. The Professor of Professional Wrestling!”

House of Black’s Malakai Black & Brody King

vs.

LSG & MSG!

Black blocked a kick from MSG. LSG tagged in and the House of Black hit tandem offense on him. Brody popped up LSG and then Black cracked him with a knee. They finished off LSG with Dante’s Inferno and Brody scored the pin!
